Danish Ice and Hydraulics is a subsidiary of Hvide Sande Skibssmedie and has developed and delivered Ice Rake systems worldwide for more than three decades.
Over the years we have acquired considerable expertise and experience in this branch. We began as a subcontractor for the company York / Sabro. Today we design, produce, assemble and deliver ice works directly to the customer.
Hvide Sande Skibssmedie has exported ice works to countries like Norway, the UK, Germany, Portugal, the United States and Saudi Arabia.
An ice work worth mentioning is a complete ice factory delivered to Morocco. The ice work has a capacity of 60 tons of ice. The Moroccans handled the installation, while Hvide Sande Skibssmedie assisted in the start-up and commissioning.
In Denmark, we have set up ice works in Thorup Strand, Hirtshals, Kerteminde and Hvide Sande, which is the largest ice factory established in Denmark.
